Dearest , This week I had an opportunity to ponder on the meaning of beauty. Not beauty in terms of a "cute face" or a "nice object" or even a perfect symmetry but beauty in terms of the aliveness in art and the essence of compassion in people.
I heard a wise man say that beauty can never be a luxury but that it's rather a necessity because it reminds us at its essence that who we are is much more than the story and the drama that appears to take form in a body and a role in life.
Beauty allows us to reconnect with the depth of the truth we long for and evoques the recognition of the invisible world of which we are made of.
What do you think? How does beauty in art, music, landscape, photography, film enrich your soul in a way that no amount of money could ever pay for? I invite you today to invite beauty into your life, to let it simmer into your existence and evoque in you a yearning to serve, to do and to be more.
