This week I did a coaching intensive with a courageous client who was experiencing heartbreak because a man who initially showed up strong in her life did not have the stamina (and commitment) to follow through on his word.

The most important moment in her transformation was the moment she decided to tell herself the truth and recognize what she'd been putting up with.

As she did, years and layers of pain, confusion, of not valuing herself, of feeling small as a woman began dropping off.

She was held in a space that allowed her to hear her heart for the first time in years and get enough courage to raise her standards.

Here is a woman who had done everything 'right'.

She had moved to the city she wanted, had an awesome (and great paying job) and still kept attracting low quality, non-committal men.
